Dear Friends,
As the founder of Chandra’s Breast Cancer Models Inc., I want to share an important and personal update with full transparency.
While preparing for our upcoming event, BEAUTIFUL 2025, I received a sponsor request for updated nonprofit documentation. That led me to the IRS website — and to my heartbreak, I discovered that our nonprofit status had been revoked in June 2021. The notification had been sent to an old PO Box, and I never received it.
Because of this, we are pausing all active programming, including BEAUTIFUL 2025 and the SHOC initiative (Survivors House Of Champions).
This news was devastating, but I believe in honesty and the power of community.
When the dream hits a pause, honesty matters most.
This is not the end. It is a moment to reflect, reset, and reimagine. I still believe in this mission — and in the women we serve. While we navigate what’s next, I am choosing to rise, reflect, and rebuild.
